"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere” -Albert Einstein

About

Jeannie Davide-Rivera

Jeannie is the award-winning author of Twirling Naked in the Streets and No One Noticed: Growing up with Undiagnosed Autism, and the middle-grade novel, Frederick Moody and the Secrets of Six Summit Lake. She has an MFA in Popular Fiction for Seton Hill University and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

When Jeannie is not making monsters come to life on the page, you can find her splitting her time between the Adirondack Mountains in NY, and relaxing under the Florida sunshine.  She loves watching movies, swimming, reading, and traveling the world. She lives with her four boys, husband, dog, and two cats.

What's Next?

I have three middle-grave novels in the pipeline!  For a sneak peak and teasers join my READER'S LIST!  Let's just say we have graveyards and gouls, and siblings and adventure and haunted houses!  You will meet the Pickman siblings, the Wheeler Twins, and  Janie and Caroline. All the adventures promise to be great fun!

Favorite MG Books

There are so many wonderful middle-grade books for me to recommend to my readers, where do I begin?

  • Any Percy Jackson book by Rick Riordan -- or any book by Riodarn!
  • Lockwood & Co. By Jonathan Stroud
  • Jumbles by Tracy Baptiste

Reviews

"A winning set up--fun, smoothly paced, and engaging with a vivid mountain town setting that allows the novel to quietly shine."

"Jeannie's stories bring back memories of reading up in a backyard tree, being a junior detective, and chasing imaginary monsters through the woods."
